In the UK paper shredders fall into five levels of security, security level 1 (lowest) to security level 5 (highest) as defined in DIN32757.

We use level 5 Din Security Level shredders for ALL shredding. This shreds paper into 0.8 x 12 mm particles. It is suitable for:

1. General paperwork (level 1). This level is typically used by mobile on-site shredding companies.
2. Low-security (level 2). Internal documents such as notes, invoices, printouts, photo-copies.
3. Confidential data (level 3). Minimum level for medical document destruction.
4. Commercially sensitive data (level 4). This is recommended for medical documents.
5. Top secret or classified, espionage safe (level 5). Suitable for government departments.

All our shredding is done using a level 5 din security shredder. We will provide you with confidential waste sacks that can be recycled. The other great thing about our sacks is that they can be put in the shredder and do not have to be emptied. This means that the risk of your confidential data going missing is reduced even further.

Our charges for confidential waste are slightly different. We will provide you with sacks that we can collect and destroy for £10 each. We will collect when you have filled 5 sacks. You simply call us and we will collect within 48 hours and invoice you afterwards.
